St. Louis Restaurant Directory

The following restaurants have gained the Sociable Celiac stamp of approval. Always make sure to call ahead when visiting new places to make sure ingredients, procedures, and practices haven’t changed. Check out the map below to see where each restaurant is located. Enjoy!

  • Corner Pub and Grill  This is one of my favorite places to get your classic bar foods. They have a dedicated gluten free menu to honor the owner’s daughter Hannah who has celiac disease.
  • Crushed Red They call themselves artisan fast and I would have to agree. They have amazing pizza’s and salads. However, they are more expensive than other quick serve restaurants.
  • Drunken Fish This is my go-to sushi place in St. Louis. There are several locations and even have gluten free soy sauce available. Also, they have an amazing cocktail menu.
  • EdgeWild Bistro & Tap So many great options that I had a hard time picking. They have gluten free bread too!! Their huge gluten free menu that can be found here
  • Guerrilla Street Food  Fast casual Filipino-American food truck and restaurants. Y’all know I am PICKY and do not like to try new foods, but I absolutely love this place. They are very knowledgeable about allergens.
  • Hacienda Great Mexican restaurant with a dedicated fryer for chips!
  • Kayak’s by Kaldi Great coffee shop with gluten free options for many menu items
  • Lona’s Lil Eats An adorable Asian fusion restaurant that all humans need to experience.
  • Mission Taco There are several locations of this great Mexican Street Food restaurant and rightfully so. Awesome food and even better margaritas.
  • New Day Gluten Free completely gluten free restaurant with a bakery and Nationwide shipping.
  • Nora’s Recently named one of the best sandwich shops in the nation and I couldn’t agree more. Any of their sandwiches can be made gluten free and the bread is amazing. They also have gf treats from time to time, as well.
  • Peacemaker Lobster & Crab Co. This is a date-night staple. It’s not cheap but is so worth it. Sam and I live down the block from here and dream about it daily. I mean how can you go wrong with a fat lobster and some delicious cocktails.
  • Peel Wood-Fired Pizza (Illinois side) Menu is clearly marked for gf items.
  • Pi Pizzeria Again, several locations throughout the STL area with great pizza and very knowledgeable wait-staff.
  • Publico is on the expensive side but the waitstaff was extremely knowledgeable. They serve small plates and much of the menu is naturally gluten free.
  • PW Pizza One of my favorite local pizza places with great staff and a cool location.
  • Retreat Gastropub doesn’t publicize their gluten free menu but has a dedicated fryer and gluten free buns.
  • Revel Kitchen Awesome little place but not as cheap as you would expect. Great food and amazing cold press juices.
  • Rooster Gluten free crepes… need I say more? Great brunch spot that also has vegan options.
  • The Shaved Duck delicious BBQ with extremely knowledgeable staff.
  • Soulard Coffee Garden is my go-to brunch spot. They are located in the Historic Soulard Neighborhood and mark the GF items on their menu. You have to try the home fries!!!
  • Square One Brewery this one came as a shock to me. Brewery in the name usually means we are getting a cheese tray, but SQ1 has an awesome gluten free menu and GF bun!!
  • SweetArt STL is an adorable cafe with yummy coffee and delicious desserts.
  • The Tavern This up-scale restaurant is perfect for date night. They are owned by the same people over at Corner Pub so you know they have you covered.
