Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls

One of the many perks of living at home when you are 22 years old is waking up to cinnamon rolls made from scratch from your awesome roommom and that is exactly what happened this Saturday morning. Cinnamon rolls are not something that I used to eat a lot before going gluten free so this was the first time I had a cinnamon roll since the summer of 2013 and it did not disappoint. Why don’t I eat more cinnamon rolls???

I was not present during the creation of this culinary masterpiece but my Mom did say “unless you absolutely love them I am not making them again because they were a piece of work.” Sorry Mom, I absolutely loved them. She found the recipe online and when I asked for the recipe for you all she sent me three screen shots from Facebook (she’s tech savvy). I had to do some digging to find the recipe. It is originally from Joan at Chocolate Chocolate and More and was modified to be gluten free by Fave Gluten Free Recipes. The only real difference is that Joan used regular bisquick.

They were deliciously gooey and as sweet as I remember. Definitely couldn’t eat more than one at a time for fear that my teeth would fall out from all of the sugar but you have to indulge every once in a while (or like 4 times a week). I will have to hep my mom make these next time because I loved them. But for now the left overs will have to do.

Does anyone have a cinnamon roll recipe the love? Send them my way!!
