I have been trying* to ween myself off of purchasing things that are not essential to my diet and are not naturally gluten free. (*read trying but not doing too well) Except for a few exceptions like breakfast cereals and bars/chips and crackers. I am not a health nut. You will learn that quickly, but I have been trying to steer clear of eating 45 gluten free cookies a week like I did after I was first diagnosed. However, it had been a few months since I had a cookie at all and I saw these Gluten Free Chocolate Moose Dragon cookies by Liz Lovely at our local Fresh Thyme I thought I died and went to heaven. They are chocolate fudge rolled in sugar and potentially some sort of addictive drug because I could not get enough of them. I put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds and had myself a cold glass of milk alongside. My celiac-free mother even tried a bite and said she would ~consider~ going g-free for these cookies alone (she’s a liar). I would suggest anyone who is anyone to take a bite or 80 from these delicious cookies.
Side note: they are also vegan, kosher, dairy free, egg free, and non-GMO verified but do contain soy for anyone who is wondering. But they come with a shocking 190 per half HALLLLFFFFF cookie so if you are a watching what you eat this may have to be a cheat treat.
